Christopher Hill, PE, PhD, CRMP is an industry leader with over 16 years of experience spanning the energy sector, including roles in oil, gas, carbon management, and beyond, with a profound dedication to driving sustainable energy transformations. As the CEO and Principal Consultant at KC Hill Consulting, Dr. Hill applies his expansive expertise to assist organizations in navigating strategic planning, risk management, and project execution across the energy spectrum.

Dr. Hill’s rich career trajectory includes significant contributions at major entities such as Summit Carbon Solutions, Chesapeake Energy, and BP Pipelines. In these positions, he excelled in areas critical to the energy sector's advancement: operational and financial planning, risk management, environmental stewardship, regulatory affairs an compliance, and the engagement of diverse stakeholders in complex, multi-state projects. His work is characterized by a forward-looking approach, prioritizing innovation, sustainable development, and strategic vision.

In addition to his consultancy, Dr. Hill extends his impact through academia and policy as an Adjunct Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Southern Methodist University and as Chairman of the Alliance for Innovation and Infrastructure's Advisory Board. These roles reflect his commitment to shaping the future of energy policy and education, preparing the next generations, and advocating for infrastructure that supports a sustainable and resilient future.

Theresa Tumminia is a sustainability leader and circular economy advocate, currently serving as the Zero Waste Technical Advisor for the City of Dallas Environmental Commission and CEO of MATI-X. Her leadership has resulted in the removal of four tons of recyclable waste in the past year and the implementation of zero-waste initiatives that empower local farmers and food aggregators.

 

Through innovative zero-waste programs designed in partnership with dozens of community farmers and food networks, Theresa has delivered over 200,000 pounds of fresh produce to the community. Her work bridges environmental responsibility with food justice, creating sustainable systems that drive both impact and equity. Theresa is dedicated to building resilient, waste-free communities that redefine how cities manage resources and nourish their people.
